The robotic loader extension allows CD/DVD Inspector to control a robotic CD/DVD loader device. At this time there are three different systems available from different hardware manufacturers. The most popular unit is from CopyPro and we are a reseller of the CopyPro hardware as well as providing GSA pricing for this system through Lyme Computers. The standard configuration of this system will process up to 100 discs at a time. The all-metal construction is extremely rugged and it will withstand continuous use in the most demanding laboratory environment.

While the specifications vary somewhat, the software is the same and the major differences are in hardware capabilities and construction.
CD/DVD Inspector now can support a camera on some Robotic Loader systems. Any supported Robotic Loader system that is equipped with a camera will be capable of capturing individual photographs of each disc processed. These will be stored in JPEG format with the content and reports about the disc.
At this time, CopyPro and WiebeTech offer a system with a camera. Other systems may have camera capabilities in the future as well.
Beyond simply photographing each disc as it is processed, an add-on called Disc Tracking is available. This add-on to CD/DVD Inspector allows a camera-equipped Robotic Loader System to read specially printed labels on discs and use the serial number on the label for identifying the content of the disc. This means that instead of simply a sequential number you get a 1-to-1 correspondence between the physical disc and the content collected.
The labels are printed on your laser printer using software included with the add-on to do this. The label material can be purchased from either InfinaDyne or from label manufacturers, depending on the quantity required.
