CD-ROM Productions has released AccuBurn-R v. 1.1, a full-featured Windows application that is designed for home and office users who rely upon having an accurate, reliable, usable CD each time they write data to their CD-R or CD-RW drive. The program automatically and accurately checks readability, and ensures that the CD is being recorded correctly. AccuBurn-R creates discs that are readable on any recent computer, with no need for proprietary software. Even when the data that you copy spans more than a single CD-R or CD-RW, each disk is independent, and can be read individually on any computer.

AccuBurn-R continuously checks the readability of the CD being recorded.  AccuBurn-R does not suffer from the "buffer underrun" problem that has turned millions of blank CD's into coasters. AccuBurn-R's intuitive Explorer-style windows let you determine which files to copy by dragging and dropping them from the left pane to the right pane. It's easy to use Windows' Task Scheduler to schedule automatic archiving operations. For power users, there's even a command-line facility that lets you create unattended backups.
