Simple 3 step process identifies files by their content and assigns the proper extension to the file so that Windows application can open the file.

When using CD/DVD Diagnostic™ or CD Rx Data Retriever™ to recover data, some files are recovered where the file name has become disassociated from the data.  These files are then listed as “Unnamed_nnnn” so that they can be copied. This allows the Windows application to open the file.
